We're going to talk about one of the most notorious haunted places in St Louis Missouri. St Louis Missouri is known for it's many breweries Budweiser being one of them. The Lemp mansion that we're going to be talking about today in our writings was one of those famous breweries that sat on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.
The Lemp Mansion was built in the late 1860s. Several people have died in the mansion some by natural causes some by suicide. Some of the experiences people have and I would be one of them. One evening we were visiting the left Mansion for dinner and, for a ghost tour.
After dinner we began our tour by having one of the curators of the building give us a few appointments and history of the mansion itself. And as we moved along, we were in one room where supposedly one of the sons had passed away. And while we were there the piano sounded, just sounded, and I was splashed with water. We had no idea where this water came from and we had no of the possibility of someone playing the piano took place because there was nobody near the piano.
We were upstairs on the third floor and all of a sudden we saw what looked like an animal crawling past us and we all became quite frightened because we couldn't figure out what this animal was. It was short had black fur and it's snarled a little bit and then it disappeared.
So I would suggest to all of you if you're ever in St Louis stop by the lymph mansion and experience it. Life magazine once called it one of the 10 most haunted places in America and again the lymph families history is quite chilling and especially on the third floor area.
